Imagine leaving home with the intention that want to take a journey South to a particular destination, but as you step out of your home, you turn 180° and started heading North.

After a while, maybe several months, you realize that you're not getting anywhere. You're not getting to your destination. It's not supposed to be a journey as long as this, what's happening? Well, the issue is obvious here, innit?

This is the same issue many of us have. We have a picture of who we want to become in our heads, we have an idea of the vision we have, where we want to see ourselves in the next five years, ten years, but instead of positioning our words to that which we see in our heads, that which we want to become, we speak the exact opposite. We desire to travel south, but instead, we are headed north, deliberately too.

"The words you speak are spirit and they are life." They are the factors that condition your atmosphere, your environment. Your life is constantly and consistently taking the shape of the words you speak. As eerie, or 'unnatural' or 'spiritual' it sounds, I promise you, it is not! It is completely natural. The universe responds to what we consistently demand of it.

The more you demand for something with your words and your actions, the more you start to see that thing. Even if you don't believe it at first, as you continue to say it and hear it, you start to believe it, and when you start to believe it, when your faith is beginning to back those words up, you start acting in like manner, and as you act it out, you become like a magnet that attract what you want.

You can't be wanting to improve your finances and you keep saying the country is bad, or there are no opportunities. Develop a consciousness that there are opportunities for you, and start speaking like it. Your words will drive you to action, and your actions will attract your desires. That's the truth.

As you speak, you condition your mind to believe it, your body to act like it, and your environment to respond to it. Whatever you speak and speak continuously is what you start to see. Look around you. What you have in your environment is a reflection of your consciousness. And you condition your consciousness through the words that you speak! See? Almost as if you are in total control of your life!!

Our opening quote says that the words you speak becomes the house you live in. Does it make sense now? Your words are bricks you lay around you. What kind of bricks have you been laying? What have you been saying?

It's time to shift your trajectory. If you want to develop as a better person, a person who can shift the course of history, then you have to shift your mind. Quit saying the things that you are seeing right now! Quit saying the things you saw in the past! Start speaking and meditating upon the pictures of your heart. Even if you have troubles believing them right now, speak them all the same and watch wonders!

You want to develop a reading habit, start telling yourself "I am a reader!" over and over and over! Start saying "I am clean! I am not a dirty person!" "I am not a worrier!" "I am a happy person!" "I am intentional about my growth!" "I love to learn new skills" "I like to meet new people and surround myself with great relationships."

What action can you take this week as you go? Change the direction of your mouth to the direction of your heart and the vision in your spirit and watch how things work from here onwards. Start speaking what you want to see, not what you are seeing.
